Island Coast High School JROTC Raiders Team Wins State Championship

ICHS Graduates of the Class of 2022 have been accepted into over 30 colleges across the nation!

ICHS Digital Design student, Auhnalicia Shalaby, was recognized by representatives from the school district and Department of Health in Mr. Jeter's class on May 24th for her sign design which will be seen at over 40 school gardens across Lee County!

As the school year winds down, we have student-athletes making their final push for state titles! Wednesday May 11, 2022 -ICHS Baseball hosts Bonita Springs at 7:00 pm in the State Regional Quarterfinals. Friday May 13, 2022 -Keon Anderson, Ofil Ramos, and Avery Brincat head to Gainesville for the State Track & Field Meet -Cheer Tryouts

This past weekend the Island Coast JROTC Gators Mixed Varsity Raider Team are the Lee County Spring Champions for SY 21-22!!! and our Male team came in 2nd place overall!!! The Mixed Team placed 1st overall out of 11 high schools and received 1st place trophies in the following events: 5k Run and the Raider Fitness Obstacle Course. The Male team actually tied for 1st place overall, but the deciding factor was the 5k run time. The Male team came got the 1st place trophies for the Rope Bridge, and the Raider Fitness Obstacle Course. The School District of Lee County through the Department of Diversity and Inclusion and Dunbar Community School are hosting the Support Our Students (S.O.S.) Enrichment Program. The program was established in 2017 and provides a unique opportunity for students. This community-based initiative offers high school students, including students beginning high school during the 2022-2023 academic year, exceptional learning opportunities, cultural arts, and career enrichment activities that inspire them to discover, embrace, and appreciate their self-worth. This summer program also includes an opportunity for students to receive a stipend after successful completion.

Students from Island Coast enjoyed visiting B&I Construction and learning about careers on a recent STEM@Work fieldtrip.
