Aerospace Academy

There are more opportunities to get into an exciting career in aerospace than you can imagine, more than just pilot, mechanic or astronaut.  We invite you to come learn how airplanes fly, all about small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), model rockets and research outer space!  Take advantage of all we have to offer: you get a unique chance to learn, build, practice, tour and enjoy various aerospace activities and businesses.

Some of the areas of interest that we pursue are Aeronautical Science, Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Unmanned Vehicles, Space, Safety, Homeland Security, Meteorology, and Piloting.

Island Coast High School Aerospace Academy students participate in hands-on activities ranging from building flying machines to flying drones and flight simulators. Students will have the opportunity to attain FAA certifications in both Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones) and Private Pilot Airplane Ground School Completion.  The Academy will lead you to career and college readiness.
