The School District of Lee County through the Department of Diversity and Inclusion and Dunbar Community School are hosting the Support Our Students (S.O.S.) Enrichment Program. The program was established in 2017 and provides a unique opportunity for students. This community-based initiative offers high school students, including students beginning high school during the 2022-2023 academic year, exceptional learning opportunities, cultural arts, and career enrichment activities that inspire them to discover, embrace, and appreciate their self-worth. This summer program also includes an opportunity for students to receive a stipend after successful completion.

Please consider applying for the Support Our Students (S.O.S.) Enrichment Program as we set out for the sixth year of the program. We invite you to join us in this commitment by spreading the word and granting your child permission to be a part of something life changing. Enclosed with this letter is the S.O.S. student flyer and application.

You may also visit Dunbar Community School’s website at: https://dcs.leeschools.net/our_students/programs to access the on-line application or return your completed application to the Diversity and Inclusion Department at the School District of Lee County.
