Ms. Angela Higginbotham

Ms. Higginbotham is in her fifth year as a School Counselor in Lee county and fourth year at Island Coast. She is a native of Fort Myers and graduated from Fort Myers High School. She attended Florida State University where she earned Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences, and then attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she earned a Master of Arts in School Counseling. In addition to being the Sophomore Class Counselor, she is JV Cheerleading Coach and Assistant Girls Track Coach.

Students should consult the Bright Futures Initial Eligibility Handbook (PDF document below) to see if they meet the scholarship requirements and qualify for the scholarship. The table below has basic qualifications for the Academic and Medallion awards which include credits, grade point average, ACT or SAT scores and community service hours. Students must have all requirements met in order to qualify for funding.
